It's a beautiful anime, but better in manga form. I read the manga first and loved it then watched the anime and thought it was okay. A story about a boy turning into a girl and only has a couple of days to live while also being fought over by two of his closest friends. I feel this is a small look on someone who is transgender, but it doesn't touch on that. It's cute and predictable, but you should read the manga online to see if you care about watch the anime.

What do you expect? No honestly what do you expect out of this show, I want to know. I think the better question is what CAN you expect out of a show thats plot summary is "Some wimpy piece of fuck MC confesses his love to some gril and gets rejected? Afterwards he decides to climb up some mountain for a 1-man pity party and just as he gets to a big clearing he sees a shooting star. *SPOILER ALERT* It turns out the star is actually an alien space ship that feels the need to crash right into the biggest thing they could find. After head on hitting MC they somehow stop on a dime and float above the city to inform everyone that this show sucks.....I MEAN that they can save MC's life but have to change his gender in the process." There are so many things to say about this I don't even know how to begin. I think I'll start with a WHY?!?!? Who came up with this and thought, "Perfect, 10/10, can't think of anything better, anime of the year." Other questions that came up were things like:

1. How the hell couldn't the ship aim for something a little more open, if the engine went out then what is preventing the turning?
2. How did the ship stop on a dime as soon as it impacted MC and not like 2 seconds before?
3. What kind of technology allows a human to be saved from complete annihilation by switching gender?
4. If it was some kind of body reconstruction, why the gender swap? Couldn't they just reconstruct a body that looks the same as his old one and is male?
5. If they can't reconstruct a new body to be a male, then couldn't they just crash into him again after he's a female and swap his swapped gender?
6. Where is my jug of extra-strength bleach?
7. Why am I still watching this?

This is only episode 1, the first fucking episode and it already makes no goddamn sense. If you want to make a show about gender-bending, thats fine, but at least have it make at least some sense. Say that there was a virus, or have the aliens enslave the human race and only want females, or have magic, or have fucking gender terrorists running around with fem-grenades, ANYTHING that could kind of work. Anyway, let's get on with the rest of the show before I actually kill myself. By episode 3, shit gets worse *SPOILER* The aliens come to earth, and we find out that the main point of the show is the romance of MC and his 2 friend-grils. Ok, ok, if I was turned into a gril by any means, my first priority would not be to start a Yuri love triangle between my best friend and the gril that rejected you 2 episodes ago. If you haven't already downed the jug of bleach and got past episode 3, you'll find that the show actually changes from really stupid, incoherent bullshit to tear-inducing boredom. There is no excitement whatsoever and I found my self hoping that someone, ANYONE gets stabbed just to make it a little more spicy. Until *SPOILER* someone gets slapped in ep9 and I guess the plot starts going somewhere there, *SPOILER*but really? Who cares? The entire show is either dumb shit that doesn't make sense (even for anime), or too boring to even stay awake and finish your swig of bleach. But the best part by far is the fact that in ep12 *SPOILER* he actually ends up with one of the grils. However, in the OVA (ep13) in ONE FUCKING EXTRA EPISODE they completely change it and he ends up with other griI. *SPOILER* I literally hate this show, of every anime I have seen this is hands down the worst one. I don't care what you end up doing or if you think I'm an idiot with bad taste. I don't suggest not watching it, I suggest forgetting the show even exists.

Sometimes you feel like there's a lot of useless whining, but it's a cute story anyway.
Plus it's yuri so it's OK :)
