Taboo Tattoo
タブー・タトゥーSeigi, a martial arts trained middle schooler, often feels driven to protect the weaker people around him. One day, he defends a homeless man against some punks, and the man gives him a strange tattoo on his palm in return. The tattoo is a secret weapon produced in the arms race between America and the Serinistan Kingdom. Seigi finds himself in over his head when a powerful girl, using the same secret weapon, violently pursues him in order to retrieve it. His skill at martial arts may not be enough to keep him alive, but will he be able to learn how to trigger the power of his tattoo in time? (Source: MU)

There are two types of "Cringy" animes out there. The first is where it hits all the tropes in an obvious manner and does it so in a way in which you can find it funny and laugh at its corny-ness. The second is when the tropes are hit in a manner that indicates that the anime is, in fact taking itself seriously and therefore cause massive levels of second-hand embarrassment. Taboo Tattoo did the latter so heavily in the first five minutes, watching the rest of the anime was a literal struggle. If you want an anime with the former quality of hilarity, go watch Servamp.

Think of every shonen show you have ever seen; then apply mature themes and a copious amount of fan service. Mix these together, and you will produce Taboo Tattoo. It is a hodgepodge of nonsense that will make you laugh at its mediocrity instead of searching its plot for a deeper meaning (which I assure you there is none). The plot itself beats you over the head with themes of vengeance and justice so many times that you will wonder if you are the one being abused instead of one of the girls. The story speeds through like your first time, and will similarly leave you wondering if what just happened is how it was supposed to go down. Looking for a guilty pleasure action anime? This is the one for you. Just don't tell people you are watching it.
P.S. I understand I watched the whole thing.
P.S.S. Yes, if there is a second season I will watch it, but just because I am piece of crap does not mean you have to be.
