Hacka Doll The Animation
ハッカドール THE・あにめーしょんHacka Doll app delivers a customized feed of news for each user. The user answers some simple questions when launching the app for the first time, and then the app will filter the news that caters to the user's personal interests. With daily use, the app automatically analyzes and learns which news articles the user reads and recommends to further personalize the feed. Hackadoll is a series of 8-minute shorts putting AI that can physically exist in the real world to the test of moving people forward in their life, advancing it. Beyond that, drop everything else you think about it. That's the story, and everything from every episode beyond is based off of that.
The first episode tries to introduce you to our AI, perfectly named #1, #2, and #3. AI in the past was really good, solved world hunger, whatever. These guys are a joke.
The references to other shows are through the roof, and they do a great job at these references. The animation is pretty on point, especially from a group that wasn't exactly known for good animation (Danchigai, Military!). The OP really shows you how inane these AI models are.
In short, if you want to have an authentic laugh and like cute girls being silly without being too obnoxious (I'm looking at you, episode 2), I'd really give it a shot. You don't have more than 8 minutes an episode to lose.
