Koe de Oshigoto!
こえでおしごと! The ANIMATIONKanna Aoyagi never really knew what her older sister Yayoi did for a living, until she turns sixteen. That’s when she finds that not only does Yayoi make erotic games (eroge), but she wants Kanna to become a voice actress for her upcoming production. At first, Kanna refuses. But one guilt trip later, Kanna winds up in the recording booth anyway, learning the ropes of eroge voice acting. How can Kanna, who’s too embarrassed to even say the mildest crude words, become a voice actress for Rated-18 games? To make matters worse, she has to keep her new day job a secret from her high school friends, and must perform in front of her older sister and her sister’s (male!) childhood friend. Soon, Kanna learns that what she lacks in experience, she makes up for with her vivid imagination. As it turns out, she might have what it takes to success after all.

It’s good for what it’s supposed to be I guess…

I watched this a long time ago because this guy, Misty, on youtube recommended it as his #1 funniest anime. This show is very stupid. It manages to become boring despite only having two worthless episodes. The whole "love story" aspect is laughable and none of the characters are likable or funny whatsoever.
This show is juvenile to the point where I wanted to slam my head into my desk. I hope this is not what the industry is like, because that would make me truly sad for the people who have to work there.
Note: There is somewhat explicit sex.
Note: Its annoying more than anything else.
I went in expecting something stupid and funny. I went out with fewer brain cells and a headache.

I enjoyed all of the characters and it was a good comedy all around, but I dont feel like the "ecchi" tag should there, but "hentai" tag should be added instead...

Well now this is an odd one. First of all, this is pretty much hentai, not ecchi. So you might want to consider that when pondering watching this.
I'll just give you my spoiler-free view on what the anime is doing well and what's not so hot.
Note that Koe de Oshigoto! is incredibly short with just 2 episodes, so everything will be scaled down to that level. (That means I was not expecting an epic story that takes ages to tell, so I won't be rating it by such standards.)
What Koe de Oshigoto! is REALLY fantastic at is making me feel the embarrassment of the main character. I've been watching most of the episodes with my hands on my face while peeking through my fingers.
The comedy of this anime comes from this feeling almost exclusively. If you don't like feeling ashamed for others, you're not gonna have a good time with this (I think).
Anyway, our protagonist Aoyagi Kanna actually shows some nice development (as much as is possible for 2 episodes, at any rate), while the other characters are more supportive than anything else. The dynamics between them are pretty good though.
The story itself is not exactly extensive and can be explained in one or two sentences. But it's not something you see every day, so bonus points for originality I guess. The meat of this anime comes from its characters anyway.
Koe de Oshigoto! has a somewhat unique art style. The characters always seem highlighted in contrast with the background, which works pretty well since it directs the focus on each person and their interaction with the others. Facial expressions, effects and gestures are spot-on and funny in my opinion.
The opening and ending music sounds nice and is a little catchy, but the lyrics are a mess.
Overall I found Koe de Oshigoto! to be quite funny, was able to feel with the main character big-time and enjoyed watching it.

If you watch this anime, trust me, you will feel the harassment the AV voice maker do the job.

Story: Kanna Aoyagi is a 16 year old high schooler who had just recently been asked by her 28 year old sis to become an erotic voice actress for her company. She refuses at first, but after having a conversation with her mother and thinks about all the times where she cared for her, she decides to accept the offer. After all, how hard (no pun intended, was that a pun?) can it be?
Uh...... this is going to a difficult show to review but I'll do my best.
I'm gonna say this right now that this is NOT FOR ANYONE UNDER 18 because some of the stuff here is... questionable(?)
Pros: The OP and ED are pretty nice to listen [even though the lyrics.... ugh], voice acting is also good, especially during, those scenes. Well they aren't bad, as they are essential to the 'story' I suppose but I really wanted to let you guys know that in the R17+ sign case this site has didn't throw you off. There's a reason its got that rating. The characters are also surprisingly likeable; there is not one character in this anime that I didn't like, which is actually quite impressive considering this type of... anime. Animation and art is amazing also (maybe too good? O_O).
I also like how they didn't go for one of the most cliched parts in these types of shows. Ya know, with the whole truth getting out, and there's a liar revealed, the friends will get upset with each other, everyone gets dopey and mopey with some sad music, and the main character doesn't want to do the thing before anymore and it takes a while for them to make up, and it sucks. But nope, this is a pure ecchi comedy with no stupid drama points (except for the very beginning but that doesn't last long at all and is forgotten about throughout the whole show), so kudos to that.
Cons: The pacing is mixed, sometimes in the first half it goes by too fast and you can barely eat up (O.O) what's going on, while other times like in the second half it goes way too slow and it feels like the story won't move at all!
But where the anime falls apart for me is the humor, I do not like bodily humor and this show is chock full of them, I kind of cringed (and got turned on, not a lesbian) through most of the... 'jokes'. The only time I laughed was in the second episode where two of Kanna's friends were spying on her and assume she and this guy (his father's got some involvement in Kanna's sister's co.) are dating and congratulate her for it, that made me laugh out loud (its funnier than it sounds, honest~!) XD
Overall: I honestly don't know what to say about this. I mean its got some good parts but man, the bad parts really hurt this for me; I know what its trying to be, but I ended up liking parts that other fans of this seemed to enjoy... for the most part. If you're under 18 or don't like these types of anime, or get weirded out easily and don't want that, then for the love of god do NOT watch this. But if you like ecchi and comedy, are over 18, and want to waste an hour of nothing but screwing around (god I gotta stop making these sick jokes >_
Thanks for reading my 24th review~
