That's the opportunity to see Aoba get captured in almost all of the bad endings from the very firstDRAMAtical Murder-Game! +superior Yaoiview
I myself am a tremendous addict of all kinds of Yaoi, BL animes, mangas, visual novels, etc. and once I uncovered a few adorable BL-Games with human voices I instantly got seduced from the whole pleasant fanbase.DRAMAtical Murder is currently the most fascinating downloadableYaoi-Visual Novel ever, not only in my opinion. At the time the anime was announced I practically jumped in circles with anticipation. If I remember correctlythe first episode aired on a Sunday in the summer holidays and thesubbed version released about two hours later. Well, besides that singlekiss between Aoba and Noiz among one of the first episodes, it's a shamefor those who have been waiting for months to see a Yaoi anime and got dissatisfied. But enough of the anime, let's get straight to the OVA!
Until the opening sets in motion our blue-haired friend is being asked vicious questions and making conclusions, meanwhile scenes with his allies delighted to be together with him are shown but the atmosphere is quenched by a darkened voice. Aoba symbolizes evil, he broke his companions who wanted to support him. Most of the time one will see Aoba-sansuffering, experiencing preposterous metal pain and moaning while his other self isliterally throwing him into the bad endings. The malicious tries to makeclear that he's Aoba and Aoba is him, to express that even more rigorous he shows him whatAoba did by cracking the spirits of his male friends. Always at thetime he reaches the cliff of psychological and physical death, he gets saved, butimmediately lands in the next disaster. Virus, Trip and their animals arethe last ones and the ending isn't unraveled enough to be contented aboutwatching it for the story.
Consistently, the synchronization is as good as weknow it from the game and anime, the character's voices though! Theyare extraordinarily fitting for the given situations and sound realistic. Perhaps Aoba really exaggerates with his groans sometimes, but Ihaven't got anything against it, honestly – who does? Because ofthe pressure in the OVA there isn't too much music, but that's okay, it wasn't amiss or anything. The intro and outro made me entirely nostalgic,it's the same adorable electro beats as in the anime and fits Midorijima. Alltogether the OVA has got overwhelming colorfulgraphics and nice animations, the characters sometimes seem to bea little bit frozen and thrifty with movements though.
Surprisingly, Nitroplus made an adequatebonus for fans of the game/anime. It contains arapproximately all of the badendings from the game and particularly certain parts are able toentertain its audience perfectly, at least the way we couldn't see it in theanime. This includes the bad ending of Koujaku, Noiz, Clear, Mink,Ren as well the duo Virus and Trip in exactly this chronologicalorder. And of course, Aobas confrontation with himself. The characters aren't indroduced at all, that's the reason why I recommend playing the Visual Novel rather than watching the anime. Overall,it's a quite good extra but extremely rushed. I wouldn't have beenagainst watching six, seven or even more OVAs, one per alternativepartner, thehe.♥
