This review contains SPOILERS about how to protect yourself from bad adults.

Story: 5/10

This is review is based off an version without subs so what happened exactly I don't know, however the general story is that a recurring team of bad guys dress as adults and attempt to take young children places. The bad guys never succeed due to the superhero who can fly Shin-chan or the children's ability to be paranoid of all strangers.

Animation: 6/10

Nothing special happened with the visuals but the environments and character all looked good (except Shin-chan who looks silly).

Sound: 5/10

I was not really listening so I just gave it a 5/10 as the music and sound effect did not stand out as being bad or good.

Character: 6/10

The villains were all cool and looked good, the kids were mostly smart about strangers and the adults bad guys dressed as all looked like typical child rapists.

Enjoyment: 4/10

The show had no tension as the villains were always foiled instantly, however as this was made to teach children to be paranoid it was not too bad.

Overall: 5/10

Overall the show did what is was supposed to do and that was to warn children about the dangers of bad adults. As the show was successful in that regard but not a great show in itself it got 5/10.

Things I learned:

  • Don't leave the park with strangers.
  • Don't get into cars with strangers.
  • Don't let strangers film you or go with them if they ask you to make a film with them.
  • Don't get into lifts (alone) with unknown adults.
  • Check to see who is at the door before you open it.
  • Don't tell people details about you friends over the phone.
  • Don't open the door even if they claim to know your parents.
  • Don't take food or money from strangers.
  • Paedophiles are persistent.
  • Shouting "Shinjuku Shin-chan" scares off strangers.
  • It is awkward to make signs and to cheer for someone a ballet recital.

Be paranoid, be safe.
