陽あたり良好!Kishimoto Kasumi, a 15-year-old girl, was supposed to live at her auntie's house in order to go to high school since April. However, when she moved to the house she was surprised with the fact that there were already four new male students living in the same house. To make the matter worse, that day while she was taking a bath, Takasugi Yusaku, one of those boys, came into the bath and saw her naked. This is how Kasumi's troublesome high school days started. Hiatari Ryoukou! is a school anime from the 80's whose story revolves around some girl who's name I can't quite remember, and her band of rejects. They all live in the same house with her aunt and go to the same high school and with that, one could imagine all kinds of crazy antics going on. This show is 80's as fuck and the music is something you might hear from the Japanese Flock of Seagulls. This time around, instead of going into detail about the episode, I will do a character analysis.
The Girl
Like I was saying, I don't know her name, but that's ok, because she just kind of blends into the background anyways despite being the main character. I guess you can describe her as a tomboy in the way she acts, but not in the way she dresses. She does have a love interest, but I guess it's only one way because he is in America, far far away.
The Love Interest
The Love Interest is the supposed boyfriend of what's her name and is arguably the best looking character in the show. Because of that, he is not once animated in the entire episode, and most likely entire series. He's far away in America doing good looking things.
Jughead
Of the few lines this character has, Jughead consistently and repeatedly states "Friendship, friendship" either at the end of everything he says, or just as a solo statement. His character is perfectly modeled after Cro-Magnon.
Shin-chan
Shin-chan is the most memorable character in this show. His long hair accentuates his good looks and he is popular among the ladies at high school. He is a very cultured person whose interests go beyond the animistic needs of a regular high school boy. With interests in astronomy and philosophy, as well as literature, Shin-chan is a shining example of the kind of guy that everyone wants to be.
Meanwhile in reality, he's just a fucking pervert.
That tongue, man.
The Actual Love Interest
The final character we are introduced to is this guy. I don't know his name. He's a pretty useless individual really, and his only strengths involve being naked and being dense. This guy literally gives literally no fucks about anything. Take the above picture for example: He walks in on the MC naked, hands on his waste, strutting his stuff and showing off his package. With a smirk on his face, he casually Yo's the MC who is horrified at the audacity of a man who just walked in on her taking a bath. This occurs at 15 minutes. In the last 5 minutes of the show, he does this two more times, both being naked and seeing her naked.
As a closing note, I'm glad I don't have to watch the other 47 (Jesus Christ) episodes.
HOLY SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT THE AUTIST
The Autist
Many readers might identify closely with this character deemed the Autist. The Autist is 3 feet tall and lives in a cave surrounded by literally and poorly lit desks. He seldom leaves his hole on the second floor of the house to scour the common room for tangerines, which upon finding none, holds the most defeatist attitude ever. Afterwords, he returns to his room and plots the death of anyone that's ever talked to him because he can't just go to 4chan and post about his feels because it's the fucking 80's. The Autist says few words in the duration of the show and is generally a disliked character among the house.
