I Just finished watching the whole series minutes ago and you guys have no idea how angry I am right now. Words cannot describe the amount of frustration I feel right now. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!. I usually don't enjoy shows that is really ecchi ( focus too much on boobs/ pervert stuff) but I actually enjoyed this series. It has a nice balance between funny and ecchi.

Basically this movie is missing so many important plot holes/ information which makes people get confused. It took them two seasons of the anime + the 1st movie (90minute) to cover about 30 chapter of the manga. But somehow the director/ whoever is in charge think is OK TO PUT THE REST OF THE CHAPTER(40Chapters left) INTO A 50 minute movie..... when the the first 30 chapter took 2 season + movie to explain.

Conclusion: Overall I still liked this movie although this movie missed so many important information, the picture cover for the movie is fantastic to me it is eye catching and it holds a meaning to the movie. I would recommend it for people who is really into the series.

For people who don't want to ruin the series..... I think it is better to not watch this movie and let your imagine run wild. Otherwise you will have too many questions you want to ask and it will never be answered unless you read the manga.  Sorry for my bad english.

DO NOT READ BELOW IF U  DON'T WANT TO SEE SPOILERS.

What this movie explained?

Ikaros finally smiled after knowing what love is.

YES SHE LOVES HER  MASTER!!! I am a sucker for romance.

Things that are left without explanation from the movie:

How the hell did they manage to destroy "zeus"?

How did Hiyori reborn as an angeloids? something to do with tomoki

What happened to everyone else?

Why is the world being vanished?

Why does Tomoki only exist in this parallel world?

Is the president an angeloids too?

Who is daedalus? what is her relationship between Tomoki and the master of Synapse?

Haha, look at all those questions left unanswered from the movie. Created more question for me than it did explaining.

After cancelling Season 3, Sora no Otoshimono Final: Eternal My Master was supposed to be the long awaited conclusion to the Sora no Otoshimono anime, but it doesn't come anywhere close to one.

The first thing you notice with the movie is that the art style is completely different than the anime series. The movie uses an art style that is much closer to that of the original manga, and while some people complained, I personally was a huge fan. But more on that later.

The movie starts at the end of the last story arc in the manga, and provides no context for what you're seeing. The movie briefly mentions the deaths of a couple very important characters, but still gives no context and expects the viewer to feel sad about them. It then begins what was the climax of the manga, only to skip back several chapters for the entire rest of the movie.

We spend 90% of the film in a huge flashback to chapters that are barely relevant to the opening scene. Here, we get more of the slice of life that we fans of the series enjoyed so much. We get treated to a nice little story of Tomoki trying to make Ikaros smile for the first time, only to be completely oblivious to her feelings and make matters a whole lot worse. It's a heartwarming tale, and the end of that story was really well done. Combine that with a new artstyle, and it's more beautiful than ever before, despite the chibi scenes looking a little weirder.

And then after 40 minutes of that, we exit the flashback and arrive to the ending again. Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for. Even without context, it's still a little interesting, right? Well, too bad, because we don't get to understand what's happening. The last couple minutes of the movie finish the opening scene, and then the movie ends.

There is no conclusion. It's like if Return of the Jedi started with Luke on Endor and ended when he arrives at the Death Star, but the movie gives literally no mention of an antagonist. Darth Vader is never in the movie, and even though manga readers know that it's all leading up to a showdown with The Emperor, the movie gives no indication that he's there nor what the goal is. It just... ends.

Normally, I'd be cautiously excited for a sequel to finish the series, but as of now there are no plans for that. And considering how the title of the movie is, "Final", I suspect there won't be one.

Overall, even as a manga reader who knew the context, I'm thoroughly disappointed. Not just because of what we got, but because of what could have been. This movie was originally supposed to be the third season. We went from a full length season as the story deserved, to half a full length movie. It's not even an hour long. Even if they insisted on skipping the entire last arc, if they had just added twenty minutes to the end, they could have actually concluded the story and said, "read the manga for context." And for a 49 minute movie, I don't think 20 more minutes is unreasonable. Even that would have been mildly satisfying.

And it's such a shame too, because the art style was beautiful, and the story in the middle that most of the movie focuses on is actually quite good. You can see the passion the animation team had while working on it; you can even see the passion the writers had for the movie by the end. They wanted the movie to be the best it could possibly be; to be the movie the series deserved. And in a way, it kind of is. They went for an emotional conclusion for the relationship with Tomoki and Ikaros, and that almost hit the mark.

But they were so close to finishing the story! Why they stopped there when they were at the home stretch, I'll never know.

After several years and a huge chunk of the story yet to be told in the anime, Sora no Otoshimono Final: Eternal My Master was put in the unfortunate position where it had to try and do it all in an impossible amount of time. In the end, it basically did nothing at all.

Would I recommend it...? I think so, but only to fans who have read the manga. With that in mind, you know what you're getting yourself into, and can enjoy the movie simply for seeing a tiny handful of the best scenes in the manga animated that otherwise wouldn't have been. Besides that, stay away. Odds are, you won't be satisfied.

The anime deserved better. The viewers deserved better.

A fucking bad final, a hit on the face if you have not read the manga!!! Seems like they just tried to give this fabulous anime a fast and horrible ending!!! If you compare this movie with the previous one, you can see that this one stinks!!! Sorry but I am really disappointed :(

Well what can I say, this was utterly disappointing. At the time I was psyched, and after waiting 3 years for this finale I thought it would be good, oh how I was wrong. The first few minutes were future seeing and then back to present day where we see most of Tomoki's shenanigans. When we reach the what I thought to be the ending we get a giant cliffhanger, and this being the finale, it won't even get animated. This whole movei is a giant middle finger to the non-manga reading community. I suggest you read the manga because you would actually know what the ending would be.
