Gokujo.: Gokurakuin Joshikou Ryou Monogatari
ゴクジョッ。~極楽院女子高寮物語~A story about the humorous misadventures of Akabane Aya, an arrogant high school girl who's constantly trying to outdo her classmates in everything (especially sex appeal), only to make a fool of herself in the process. Since the story takes place in an all-girls school, expect lots of yuri fanservice innuendos without much seriousness.

This anime reminds me somewhat/a lot of Turning Girls: the worst anime I have ever seen in my entire ducking life, and here is why...
First the Pros cause there's a lot of that shit in there: Its slightly better than Turning Girls because of the animation and story being THERE! That and the fact that this shit isn't well known or liked either... and its short.
Now the Cons, cause oh boy: The story here is that Kuribayashi Minami returns to Japan after a long stay in Los Angeles. She enters an upper-class girl's high school "Gokurakuin Jyoshi High School", so called "Gokujyo". She tries to dominate the school with her 'beauty' and 'grace' but her plan gets ruined by the 'silly' and perverted behaviors of her eccentric classmates, who should not be friends with a girl like her ever but they are because they're stupid or something.
And now you notice the biggest problem with this anime: the main character is an egotistical, neurotic, selfish, whiny, hypocritical, bully of a girl character. Always trying to be better than everyone else, pushing her friends around, and use them for her benefits. She's the main reason this show is Iredeemable. Horrible doesn't even begin to describe her character. Only good I guess is that she does get a taste of her medicine at the end which would be satisfying but its not fleshed out enough and her voice is nails on a chalkboard annoying especially when she screams (and she does so... a lot).
Her 'friends' are no better as they seem to be masochistic and rather 'friendly' to her despite the latter treating the former like crappy no good tampons. One dimensional does not begin to describe them it is that bad.
The art is bland and tiring to look at, the character designs are ugly, and the facial expressions are just... horrifying. They make Riku from Grrl Power look and sound cute in comparison (I might have to review that in some point). Voice work is especially awful, as I mentioned before already.
Also, the fan service is SO distracting in this and its not funny in the slightest. I don't know what they were trying to do here but let me tell you, its a pain in the ass to follow and sit through. Even Plastic Nee-san was more entertaning than this!
Disadvantage it has over Turning Girls is that this show has more episodes and a longer running time which makes this more painful to sit through... music is bad but not as bad as TG.
Overall: This isn't fun, this was painful. Everything about this show is lame/stupid/irritating and I don't particularly care for it. Watch the Lucky Star spin off instead of this tripe.
Thanks.... for reading my 30th review... sigh...
