This was a great show from my early childhood anime. It is the story of a young boy who steps out of his older sister’s shadow and uses his family connections to get the privilege of living in the same house as a major world leader. It is the story of a young boy - no - a young man leaving behind his old life and reinventing himself by moving across the country, meeting new people, trying new things, and constantly learning about the world around him. A great anime, everyone should watch this young man’s journey through the tough times of puberty and high school. Great character development.

10/10 A modern classic! If you have yet to watch Cory in the House by famed Chinese Cartoon director Dennis Rinsler (デニス・リﾝスラー) and famed animator Marc Warren (マック・ウォーラﾝ) you should you casual pleb! Kyle Orlando Massey (カイル・オーラﾝドー・マスィー) who does an outstanding job as the suave Cory-kun-sama whose ability to manipulate the battlefield makes Kira and Lelouch look like wimps is something else. The OST is the best part of the series (which is already high praise already) with the main theme こーりー・いん・ざ・はうす makes every Japanese businessman sing Karaoke. Studio Disney did a fantastic job bringing the world of Cory to life.

Cory in the House is a 5 star true classic. Cory is best waifu all time

It’s not everyday I review a Anime, but Cory in the house A.k.a Cory-Chan in the house a.k.a Cory White House de Chou Taihen. Really deserves it.

I’ll be real I’ve watched a lot of shit recently and I needed a break. Eveyone kept suggesting watch cory watch some cory but I never got around to it. But somehow I was browsing Crunchyfunimationroll and there it was Cory in the house. I clicked once and never turned back.

The character development is amazing, the art style and directing perfect even the opening is a god damn banger. The story takes you for a trip everything you want is there, the feels, the happy times even the epic anime battles.

Highlight for me Spoiler alert was when cory ruined his dads cake and he had no idea what to do. I was like “OMG!?”.

Anyway this is a must watch and I am so glad it got added to the site after so many posts: https://kitsu.io/posts/8680643 I can now finally add it to my favorites a place it belongs.

This anime covers the horrors of colonialism, emigration, religious conviction, starvation, political trials, patriarchy, puberty, loss, and if methodically exposing each of these very horrifying real life tribulations isn’t terrifying and alarming enough, there’s both an assassination and incredible mind-fuck to leave you chewing over this masterpiece for years to come.

Cory in the House slowly builds to a chaotic conclusion, morbidly grooming Cory’s family to turn against him, to leave him desperate and broken, vulnerable to influence, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
