Story: Nakamachi Kana is a junior high school girl. After her grandmother passes away and she's left all alone, the young girl finds a newspaper carrier station and starts to work there as a live-in carrier. Her room has a hole on the wall, in which other female workers who happen to live next door to her room come through and start a wild merrymaking. Hilarity ensues.

Pros: Most of the characters in this are fun to watch even though they have one/two sentenced personalities [in my book anyways]. Kana is soft spoken, shy, and clumsy, but wants to do things right for herself and others. Saki, the leader (and is the youngest) is the serious one of the group who tries to get things done and has to put up with all the stress around her. She stil cares for them but wishes they could do their work properly. Yume is energetic and carefree, while her girlfriend Yuuki is shy and emotional (if anyone gets near Yume, say your prayers).

Miki is another character I like, although she's just another tsundere and I hated her at first, some of her lines and reactions (especially around Kana) are pretty funny and cute (I wish she was in more episodes though, that's the only problem I have with her) :)

The art is pretty to look at while the animation is also good its still standard, not that there is a problem with that. The music isn't anything remotely spectacular however.

Humor is a mixed bag, some reactions on the girls faces and lines are priceless as well as some twists in some episodes that have been done to death before so there's at least variety.

Cons: The only characters I don't like are Hinata and Haruka. The former has no personality other than loving money and sucks at college exams (I wonder if she and Keitaro from Love Hina are related... just a thought :P). The latter is so annoying, always trying to flirt and grope with Kana and Saki even though they are kids. Thankfully Saki and Hinata smack her whenever she gets too personal but still it isn't fun to watch.

Speaking of, I said that on one hand the humor can be funny when they show the reactions and twists in some episodes (Kaniko the robot is kinda cute :P) but on the other hand there are those running gags that just aren't funny. Some lovely gags that they keep using are again, Haruka flirting with Kana and Saki smacks her for it, Hinata getting teased about for college exams, and there's also Yume and Yuuki's relationship as well as Kaniko the robot popping in and out saying random lines (to be fair, the last is pretty funny sometimes).

Overall: I think it's a good anime, cute moments, stupid moments, and fun moments glore! The designs maybe similar to Higurashi but this anime is nothing like that gore-fest, I recommend you give it a watch if you like these types of shows and can handle/stomach through obnoxious and unfunny running jokes, whenever a bad joke appears, a good one will show up after that :D
