Story: The student council members of Hekiyou Academy [in Hokkaidō] are selected by a popularity contest. As a result the members are usually a group of pretty girls. The sole male member there is Ken Sugisaki, who entered by becoming the top-scoring student in the level in which he had to cram in order to achieve. The story begin with them having crazy adventures in the student council in different parodies and mishaps. Hilarity ensues.

Pros: It's a really good parody, there's a lot of jokes and references in this show and the majority of them hit bulls eye. The characters are also pretty hilarious as they play off each other very well and voices work them up really good too.

Kurimu, the president is the bossy one in charge of the stuff they should do and writes stuff down on the whiteboard. The others usually don't take her or her plans very seriously because of her voice, height, and [for the most part] personality.

Chizuru is the secretary who is tall, pretty, and mature, but also has a bit of a sadistic side to her as she 'brain washes' Ken and Kurimu sometimes. She's identified as the cool and serious one.

Minatsu is the vice president who's a tomboy that good with athletic skills and math, which Ken finds unrealistic for someone like her. She has a younger sister named Mafuyu, a sweet girl who loves yaoi and video games. Minatsu is really protective of her and would hurt anyone who tries to hurt her or make a move on her.

And Ken is lazy and carefree, but also cares for the girls around him... even if he goes a bit too far at times. Thanks to them, he started to find a purpose in life and ever since wants to return the favor for them by making them all happy. That's actually pretty deep. He is also the butmonkey and it works cause there are times where he can get too far with his behavior and sound really perverted and snooty which the girls rightfully punish him for it. But we still love him though :P

The animation and art also fit in with the humor and it looks pretty neat, the side characters are also really fun to be around.

Cons: Ending is a little weak, not too bad, but not too great either. The music isn't all that impressive and its pretty forgettable at best. Also sometimes the characters can act like huge hypocrites, not totally distracting but its there. Story is generic too but it works cause of the execution.

Overall: It's a really good parody anime and the second season is just as good, watch this first or you'll be confused with the second season. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good comedy parody with some hints of romance (not much of that happens though) :3
