Busou Shinki Moon Angel is the kind of anime that you would not go in to watch with high expectations. This might be because even though using an ONA is popular as a marketing tool is it never really used for the releasing of an entire anime. But does that mean that this anime (or more accurate term 'short series') is a waste of your time? Does that mean you should ignore it completely?
The short answer would be, "Yes, you could." As this short ONA series does not have much to offer in any way. The story is basic and is full of the same kind of character archetypes... or shall I say cliches... that are commonly used in Mecha animes. The animation and not to mention to sound to this anime are barely noticeable and won't do much to convince you to watch it.
However, all seriousness aside, I did rather much shamelessly enjoy just about every minute of it (save for some of the flawed and obviously thrown in dialogue throughout the middle). And if you bothered, I would suggest you to watch it when you really have nothing else to do because doesn't take a ton of brain power to understand what is going on and you can watch it without having to really pay attention which for some of us (me) is awesome if you have a short attention span.
I wouldn't go in and expect too much from it though because, again, it doesn't have much to offer. If you did want something with a little bit more... substance I would point you towards Angelic Layer because it is a rather cute anime with the same presence as the Shinki dolls from this ONA, providing that you might have enjoyed it... somewhat.
