Story: Noya Itsuki just transferred to Ebisugawa High School. Since he has always had a fascination with space, he decides to join the Astronomy Club. However, he mistakenly walks into the Asstronomy Club - a club whose members are all female otaku. Itsuki notices that the members are really weird, but he has yet to realize that he joined the wrong club. His life becomes very strange very quickly.

Cons: The story has been done to death and almost nothing new is added into the mix (I say almost but we'll get to that in a bit). I really don't like those types where the girls take control of a guy and force him to join or do something weird or stupid in order to join... and for this one, he is forced to pretend to be a girl. I am not making this up. What really makes it icing on the cake is that the main character does not seems to mind at all and acts like he's totally fine with it, he never even finds out that he's in a wrong club at the end either which is rather... odd to say the least.

Speaking of, the characters are all one dimensional. The main character Noya is a wimp beyond all wimps. He does almost nothing and is just too nice, even when he sees someone get harassed he does nothing and cannot fight to save his life.

The president Kyoko is basically Haruhi Suzumiya: A rude obnoxious girl who is wild and crazy and expects to do whatever she wants without anyone getting in her way (Noya doesn't even try to talk back to her) and just loves to harass her childhood friend... no one does anything about either as if its perfectly ok, even Noya... ugh. There is a difference but I don't want to spoil it for those who have not seen the latter show.

Her friend Hakata loves yaoi doujinshi... and that's her entire personality. Rikei is an emotionless girl who loves cats... and that's it. Hasumi is Chizuru from Seitokai No Ichizon, and Yuka's a tsundere who hates cats (only decent comedy to come out of that). These aren't bad characters but I don't remember any of them.

Speaking of, the humor is bad, its either parodies from other anime or fanservice which is unnecessary but I've seen worse. The first half of the anime has this gimmick a lot.

Pros: The second half is where the show starts to get good. I won't give it away but there's a pretty good plot point with the main character and the president's sister (the romance between them is pretty good, yeah he doesn't end up with the main jerk girl which is a nice touch) and it gets really intense and interesting which made me want to watch the rest of the anime to see how it ends. The ending is also really good.

The OP (which was only in the first episode) and the ED (which was only in the last episode) are also pretty nice to listen to... if you can remember it that is.

Voices and artwork are also good, especially at the scenes in they actually look at the stars (only REAL good thing about the first half in all honesty, the music fits the mood and tone of it too. Episode 6 in general) and the animation is decent. There are also some scenes in the first half that were do bad its good but its the second half that makes it really entertaining (even though it may not make sense at first, it is explained later on)

Overall: A short and pretty good anime. The first half is... eh, not that great, but really, its the awesome second half that makes it all the while/more worth it! If you want to look at 10 episodes then I see no harm in watching it... if you can survive it that is :P
