It was really good! The outfits, the songs, the choreography and all the wonderful wonderful characters. I loved all of it.

I went into Cinderella Girls with concern. I loved the first series, and the movie is one of my favorite anime films of all time. The fact that there were more idols in the Cinderella Girls mobile game than human beings on planet earth made me think that the characters would have no identity, but Cinderella Girls proved me wrong. Since you people are all critical of everything, let's start with the cons.
Cons:-Animation is clunky at times: A1 pictures isn't really known for its beautiful animation quality. Let's be real, with nightmarish claw hands, and poorly drawn faces, the immersion can be broken at times. The keyword being at times. When A1 isn't trying to recreate Jurassic Park with their cute anime girls, they have some beautiful scenes, especially the backgrounds.
dude someone drew that!-Nothing really happens: This isn't really a pro or a con, but few major things happen. The longest arc is three episodes. The show is very well written, but nothing really happens.
-No Anastasia episode: Ok here me out. I'm not just saying that because she's best girl (she totally is though lets be real.) Many of the more interesting characters were completely glossed over and not given any spotlight at all. Anastasia and Chieri definitely got shelved the hardest. I understand that there were only 13 episodes, but if A1 would stop shoving Rin down our throats, that'd be great Pros:+Diverse cast of characters: THE iDOLM@STER has always been known for two things, its music, and its characters. Like the first series, each character has their own visual and story identity. While some are more cliche'd and generic than others, all of them left a good expression on me. Well, except Kirai.
+Great music: Like I said earlier, iM@S is known for its characters, and its music; and let me tell you, the music inserts as well as the OP and ED are all fantastic. I found myself humming Star!! in the car from time to time.
+Kept me smiling the whole way through: All in all, Cinderella girls was a great show. It didn't live up to its predecessor, but it's great in its own right. The clever writing, beautiful backdrops, catchy music, and generally fun atmosphere kept me smiling the whole way through. It's a good show, I like it. Go watch it.Here's a relevant video:
