this is a nice unique anime because of his Masochist genre but thats very funny to watch ,this anime come with a lot of comedy and you will begin to like it but anyway lets begin !

About The Story
the story begin with the guy who have a Masochist Fetish and want to cure it for a girl he love because he think thats can be bad for her so at his school he ask to his bestfriend about some help and his bestfriend talk about a club named Volunteer Club so he go see here for help and he ask about curing his Masochist Fetish and they gonna try some solution to cure it and he meet some others person in his journey and they do a lot of things ! but the anime story is more focus on some nowhere event who happen during the anime but dont forget you have a little Romance story in that this is not soo Harem !

About The Animation and Sounds
the animation is good and normal like everytime so lets go to the sound right now , some music in this anime is a little weird and strange really but thats not bad but some music are a little bit look like bizzarre sound or idk how to say that LOOL .. the Opening and Ending dont make me really in but they are not bad but thats not turned me on if you know what i mean but anyway i leave the link right there for you

About The Characters
you dont have soo much character when you think about it but you see all characters at each episode the 3/4 of the time so you dont have a lot of character who dissapear during the serie !

Mio Isurugi / a sadistic loli if we can call this like that but she have a kind heart .. she torture Tarou all the time... she want to grant the wish of everyone and call herselft God

Tarou Sado / this guy is pretty funny because of his Masochist i like how he react each time he got a kick or a punch or anything like that he have making me laugh a lot of time..he his a Masochist but this is a very nice guy

Arashiko Yuuno / this girl have something im not gonna say for not spoiled so this is a very adorable girl and innocent girl if you want to call it like that she is loveable and love animals so thats make her a very fragile girl if you see what i mean by that !

Tatsukichi Hayama / thats the bestfriend of Tarou and this is a very nice bestfriend and this guy have making me laugh a lot of time too because of his addict hidden thing i cant say what is it you gonna discover when you gonna watch it !
Manager Domyoji / thats a Pure-Otaku if you want to call this like that , he look cool but he have a waifus and really think like a Otaku and thats make him a really funny character but we dont see him soo much this is a little sad..

About The Enjoymentthis anime contain a lot of comedy thats rare you gonna be bored because the large of time you gonna laugh so this is very enjoyable the most of the time and i have very like the Masochist Comedy in it thats make this anime unique in his genre so yeah everything depend on what you like !

if i recommand this anime i can say i dont really know that depend if normally you like Comedy if you want a Ecchi this anime dont contain soo much Ecchi thing version Uncensored or not this is more Comedy and Vulgar than anything ! anyway thats fun go for it if you have nothing to watch !

Now let me just say, this is one of the greatest animes (in my opinion) that I've ever seen and I'll already award it the maximum rating I could possibly give it but let me explain why.

Story:

The story may not seem that interesting at first glance but it mixes a lot of funny references to the Dragonball franchise and still manages to balance drama and comedy with pin point accuracy.

Animation:

The animation has a smooth and fluid flow, the action scenes are animated to perfection especially during the tense scenes and the more violent scenes.

Sound:

One of the best soundtracks I've ever heard the main theme [Help!!] is in my favorite playlist and I've listened to it more than any other opening.

Characters:

Normally at this point most Ecchi/Romance/Drama's would take a dip and I'd rant about how the characters are all the same. But this I generally found no characters that I can make actual full fledged copies I'll always be able to say there are similarities because there will always be but the characters are all interesting and will keep you coming back for more. 

Conclusion:

Overall this anime is a much watch for anyone who loves Comedy/Romance/Drama/Ecchi it is such a masterpiece this has earned the spot of one of my most favorite anime's and has a perfect score from me.

A show with an absolutely ridiculous premise that somehow manages to work so very well due to the lovable characters who portray it.

The story is quite outlandish, being a masochist who wants to cure his masochism and a seemingly sadistic girl being the one doing the helping, as you can imagine this makes up most of the comedy in the show. There is some ecchi in it of course but nothing over the top at all......very tame for its nature i must say
Story 9/10

The animation is quite good and i like the style quite a bit with the beautiful bright colors of the characters being highlighted quite nicely, and no complaints about the background art or anything.......very standard nothing spectacular.
Animation 8/10

The sound, well the anime opening "Help" by Taketatsu Ayana got stuck in my head for the duration of the anime, its a crazy opening song and i think its very enjoyable and fits the anime well. The ending song "More-more Lovers" by Natsuko Asou was alright i have to say i enjoyed the opening more. More importantly was the voice acting......very well done, all the characters sounded exactly how you'd want them to in the Japanese dub as for the English dub i haven't seen so i cannot comment.
Sound 9/10

The characters.....they are the best part of this show.....every single character in this show is crucial to your enjoyment, trust me.......they are all wonderful, cliche at times however you can look past that and just enjoy the interactions between them, they are so diverse .....its brilliant.

As you can tell from my review i quite thoroughly enjoyed this anime and i recommend it to anyone who loves slapstick comedy and insane characters who are masochistic, sadistic, lolicon, cross-dressing, anymore and i'll spoil your fun...its a blast of a story and if you need a laugh watch MM!

Preface: A majority of the story is centered around our Massively Masochistic! - (MM!) main character Tarou Sado and the fact he enjoys the abuse of women. If you don't think that comedy involving this plot device could be something that kind of intrigues or amuses you then you probably won't enjoy the show as this is what it's mainly about.

Story (9/10)

MM! starts off a bit slow for the first three episodes as it introduces characters and has some character development. It really starts to kick off from episode four however and turns into a real fast paced roller coaster of comedy and amusement. To summarize what the show is about, MM! centers around main character Tarou Sado a high schooler that is secretly an extreme masochist that enjoys being abused by women. In an attempt to cure himself of this problem and become a normal person again he joins the Second Volunteering Club. Little does he know the president of the club Mio Isurugi is an extreme sadist that refers to herself as god. Along with his fellow club member Yuuno Arashiko an androphobic girl and his best friend Tatsukichi they try to "cure" Tarou of his masochism. Their attempts to "cure" Tarou of his masochism tend to fail hilariously leading to the main comedy/story of the show.

Animation (7/10)

The overall animation/looks of the show is decent. So I wasn't really a big fan of the character designs at first but they kind of grew on me as I got invested into the show. One detail that kind of annoyed me was that every character had the same hair shading style. Seeing as each character generally had their own hair color is did make for a very colorful show though. The animation itself is perfectly fine and there are some pretty awesomely animated action scenes.

I'm not a big critic of anime openings/endings. I mainly judge on if they're catchy and if they appropriately match the mood that the show gives. In the case of MM! they certainly match the mood of the show with their fast pace and upbeat nature. As for voice actors Jun Fukuyama did a really good job as Tarou Sado with a very convincing masochist act - (Notable in his work as Lelouch in Code Geass and Yuuta in Chuunibyou). Ayana Taketatsu is the definition of tsundere female lead and there really couldn't have been a better voice actress to fit the roll of Mio Tsuguri. So it goes without saying that the voice casts for the leads are pretty solid.

Characters (9/10)

I found all the characters to be quite likeable and enjoyable, with the only two exceptions being Tarou's mom and sister whom both wanted an incestuous relationship with him. Tarou behind his extreme masochism is actually a nice person and as you see in episode three, he isn't afraid to stand up for his friends. Mio Tsuguri's sadistic personality has a pretty nice synergy with Tarou's masochism and they seem almost perfect for each other. That being said the show is still a "harem" even though it is quite obvious who the main girl is. Yuuno Arashiko has a much gentler nature and is in many ways a foil to Mio's abrasive nature, sadly her androphobia prevents her from making much progress romantically. Noa Hiragii the genius scientist is also technically the "loli" love interest although it's very apparent that she innocently only wants to play games with Tarou and the "love" doesn't progress farther then that. Tatsukichi is also a great character but I won't go into detail about him due to spoilers.

Enjoyment (10/10)

MM! was perfect for me and I found it extremely enjoyable, whether you find it as entertaining as I did is a matter of preference as stated in the preface!

Overall the anime is really great in terms of comedy and uniqueness. This is the only anime to have a masochistic main character and as I said before the synergy between the masochism of Tarou and the sadism Mio is really quite amazing and entertaining. If you're a fan of comedy then MM! is definitely an anime you've got to watch!

MM! is a fairly simple show about a guy who is an extreme masochist, but he doesn't like how he is so he enlists the help of a school club and is forced then to join as the leader, Mio, promises to cure him of his habbit, although there are only two members of the club before he join they don't exactly go about curing him, if anything fuelling it even further, with a sadist and an androphobe.There is nothing new about having a character suffer (if you call it suffering) from S & M, but this show does something original by having the whole show focused around this condition rather than having a side character use the gimmick. This makes the show enjoyable and funny as the protagonist is treated to various acts of violence and torture and the different comedic and embarrassing situation this gets hime into, not discounting the crossdressing elemnts and Dragonball parodies.The art is not particualry great, hair seems to really large compared the the heads but thats just its style and the wide use of colors for hair, blue, green, purple, yellow just to name a few. Animation is simple but the characters do stay proportioned for the most part. Backgrounds are very simple and don't have a lot of detail put into them and the people in the background lack movement but there are a few scenes that look like a painting and do look nice. So the art and animation has its ups and downs but its style suits the show.The opening is quite the earworm but has an air of unoriginality about its tune, ending song is a little all over the shop its got fast paced beat which makes you want to nod your head along but then slows into a ballad but then instantly speeds up, still a decent listen. Voice acting can be a little annoying but it fits with each characters stereotype and this type of show, though i personally found them to be annoying they do add and help towards the comedy.Tarou our main character is a 'hella masochist' but doen't like the fact so he enlists the help of the 2nd Volunteer Club to try and rid him of ot so he has the possibility of having a normal relationship, despite his condition he will always help his friends even when he feels embaressed. Mio is the leader of the club and frequently abuses tarou, (which she nicknames 'Pig boy') verbally and physically in the hoe of curing him. Yuuno has Androphobia due to an incident prior to the main stories time so if she ever gets too close to Tarou she ends up beating him but does genuanlly have feelings for him. Side characters all add variety to the comedy, the nurse likes fuelling situations and taking girls pictures, Noa is a scientist and won't stop at anything to get tarou to return her feelings with her inventions, Hayama is tarous best friends but tends to cross dress that alters his personality greatly, and not forget out lead characters sister and Mother who love him a little too much.Overall the show does have a few cliches, characters suffer from stereotypes, tsunderes, genius' etc and has a few cliched episodes but with the added masochism is creates a new feel and definitely helps make this show funny. The show does like to tease us with romance but nothing is ever played out fully. Enjoyable but not the best comedy out there.
