Natsume's Book of Friends Season 5
夏目友人帳 伍Takashi Natsume is a boy who's been able to see youkai ever since he was a child. Ever since he inherited the "Book of Friends" from his grandmother Reiko, he and his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei have spent their days returning names to the youkai who are bound by the book. As he meets the different youkai and people, he finds himself with many more things that he cares about. I promise this anime will change your Life for good(sounds cheesy yes it is). But don't believe me now, believe me after you have watched NY.
I grew up on this, I first watched NY season 1 when I was a 15 years old, Now I am 23 and I am still as crazy about NY as i was when i was just a weird teenager, It is is one of a kind,This is the only anime (no wait Hunter x Hunter too) that teaches you about Life. Season 5 looks amazing, the first two episode were marvelous absolutely breath-taking. can't wait for Episode 3 'Natsume' meets Matoba again, Action starts from now on. NY has still maintained its visual quality throughout the years, even if different studios have changed... the animation is still the same as it was 8 years before Kudos to that. The animation is visually aesthetic and the music is gorgeous, You will be hooked on to each scene i promise you that. I am glad the studios didn't mess around NY Go and kept it like the previous seasons. NY holds the No.1 spot in my heart, no anime can ever be great as this and believe me I have watched a lot(check my library for proof). I don't usually write reviews but this series compels me to do so.If you are into Slice Of Life genre this is the best you 've got(Honey & Clover is comparable too), Don't miss it for your life. This anime did my life good to a great extent. It emotionally changes you. And BTW if you are new to NY Series Don't be a dumbass and Start watching it from Season 1 not from Season 5. Happy Watching. Highly Recommended Must watch for any human being on this planet.
P.S. - Can't thank enough to the fans and creators of NY Go season 5 campaign, Season 5 has been possible because of them, they increased NY's popularity and the website and fb page really conveyed our message to the manga creator and the studios of how badly we wanted another season.
