中二病でも恋がしたい！戀 再生の･･･邪王真眼黙示録（The Rikka Wars）Unaired episode 13 released with volume 7 of the Blu-ray and DVD. Rikka becomes displeased with Yuuta after she discovers Makoto had secretly given him a USB stick containing photos of an idol he had a crush on during middle school. Rikka and the other girls instruct Yuuta to return the stick immediately, though Makoto secretly lets him keep it. Later that night, as Rikka sneaks into Yuuta's room and discovers the stick, she inadvertently destroys it whilst trying to hide it from him, leading to the two of them arguing over who was in the wrong. With neither side willing to apologise, the girls enlist the help of Satone and Kuzuha to see how Yuuta reacts when Rikka doesn't come home, finding that he still cares about her, and the two manage to make up with each other. I was pretty excited for this extra episode for the anime, hoping it would be a little bit like the ova for mirai nikki. I started watching this with the belief that they would introduce the conclusion/consumation of the superior contract which was introduced in the anime.
Sadly, I was dissapointed. Not only does the entire plot of this episode feel forced, but everything Yuuta does in this episode feels like it's a breach of character. I was still hopeful though, throughout the episode, thinking that they surely wouldn't make another episode just to milk the cow some more? Thinking that a new episode introduced like this would be something which would give fans the satisfaction of seeing the inevitable happen?
I was wrong in all aspects. Even though the crisis was averted and they made up in the end I would have to admit that in my honest opinion this episode was completely unnecessary since it did nothing but make Yuuta seem like a total douchebag.
